NaPoWriMo’s prompt for April 1st:
Go to Reb Livingston’s Bibliomancy Oracle, clear your mind, push the button, and then write a poem based on the quotation that the oracle provides.
The Oracle said “Must we fail in one form to find another?” From Stet by Dora Malech.
Failure
We don’t like it or want to be faced with it
What we fail in we must try to master
Our failures can lead us to find our niche in life
When we are young our failures and misfortunes can serve as a road map
As adults failure creates shame and frustrations
Failures are real and are a given life
To fail means you tried
We must fail to discover ourselves

Very insightful, puts a much needed positive perspective on failure–that we must fail to discover and learn. By the way, I’m half-Cajun–a gumbo lover!
